Schizophrenia isn't the kind of disease you can inherit just like that. There are many genetic/social/environmental factors involved.
Which all interact with one another, somehow.
I advice you to find out what those factors are and take them out of your life.It might reveal itself as an impossible task tho.
By the way, telling you "you are just like your mother"? So not cool.
Reason number one:Because you should be proud of your biological mom no matter what. She gave you your life and you shouldn't think less of her in anyway for any reason.
Number two:Telling you that you are just like your mother won't help you in any way to avoid the illness. It will just make you paranoid.
To develop schizophrenia you must have what psychiatrists call "schizoid personality".
You can look it up.
Schizoid personality:characterized by a lack of interest in social relationships,a tendency towards a solitary lifestyle, secretiveness, and emotional coldness.Introversion.
1:Unsociability, quietness, reservedness, seriousness, and eccentricity
2:timidity, shyness with feelings, sensitivity, nervousness, excitability, and fondness of nature and books
3:pliability,kindliness,honesty,indifference, silence,and cold emotional attitudes.
My guess is you will develop "It".
You can either develop it at age 30 or at age 50 or at age 60 but it has to come up some day.
Is it normal if I'm afraid I'm going to develop Schizophrenia?
