*whom
When is "whom" used?
There's a "he vs him" rule. If the answer would be "he", then "who" would be correct. If the answer would be "him", then "whom" would be correct
As for this situation, the answer to "For who/whom?"could obviously be "For him." rather than "For he." So, whom would be correct.
Ironically, I'm not very good at explaining grammar. So, I'm not even sure if that made sense. x.x
It made sense; thanks.
No problem. :)
When "who" is the object, rather than the subject.
I dont think our OP has much of an idea about the object or subject in a sentence, and I think he has disproved his claim already...
He disproved his claim in his titlte when he stated he was 'cleverer'.. =/
Your music taste is pretty good. Sorry about the ... ah ... "titlte".
It is, isn't it? ; > Which bands/artists are you referring to?
Lol! Oops... Yeah well, you better be! *Runs away*
You are actually one of my prime examples of self-esteem boosting!
In what way??
Good point!
;)
It's fun to point out mistakes.
Unfortunately your parents weren't friends with anyone who felt the same way ;)
Shut up, Douchebag
IIN if I know I'm cleverer than the majority of the internet
