A family friend committed suicide yesterday. He was bipolar and unmedicated, abusing drugs and alcohol. He leaves behind a seven year old son.
That kid was all he lived for. His ex was restricting access. I can't imagine how much pain he must have been in to do what he did. I also can't imagine the pain that poor little boy is going to be going through.
I feel more sorry for the little one, but, even though I didn't like this man at all, I still do feel sympathy for his situation.
I also had a very dear friend who committed suicide years ago. Also mental health issues, some stemming from early childhood abuse. I still love him dearly and miss him deeply, but he was in SO much pain. I can't even begin to fathom it.
