I see where you're coming from, but I don't think you should have absolutely no sympathy. I have thought about it myself but will never do it because I don't want to cause that pain for those who love me. Being suicidal doesn't mean someone is selfish, it just means they have problems and could really use someone who cares and has a little sympathy for whatever they are going through.
