I'm not normally one to side with the person harming themselves here, but you're assuming that all people who commit suicide have families that care for them while they are alive, and/or access to or mental/physically capable to access resources that will make solving their problems possible. And you assume that they are not in a situation in which we all are everyday in which implicit norms and regulations (such as the honor/love/dependence on their family) dictate the decisions that they can or can not make.
Yeah, some people are selfish when they commit suicide, just like some people who are overweight are physically fit. Not really any widely available statistics to measure how much of which group is either.
