Of course it is possible to enjoy food without eating to excess, but the definition of binge is to "indulge in an activity, especially eating, to excess."
...why would you want to know that? I don't have any daily menu, I just eat little bits through out the day that'll maintain my energy level while not letting too many calories go to waste. whole grains, dairy, egg, nuts, etc. never claimed to be perfect but I try to follow the recommendations
I ask because the wording of your first sentence seemed to indicate that eating was not meant to be pleasurable at all - that food is not meant to be enjoyed.
"Eating is not meant to be "for fun"."
My point was that you can enjoy a meal, or even look forward to eating a particular thing, without it being in excess, and was enquiring as to whether you eat the same bland things over and over because it's not meant to be "fun".
You're right I probably worded it poorly, as looking back, if food were not meant to be somewhat fun we would not have recipes, cooking shows, desserts, etc.
I honestly do eat the same bland things over and over on my own, I feel like food is only enjoyable when prepared by someone else but that's just me.
Ok. I wasn't implying that was unacceptable, merely trying to ascertain your stance and whether your behaviour actually matches it, which apparently does.
IIN if I don't think binge eating is bad ?

Perhaps I read too much into it. My bad.
