First of all, congrats on never falling into the cycle of hardcore partying and drug use. I know so many people who used to be friends who do this, and well, emphasis on "used to be friends with". I'm 19 and I haven't done drugs either, I like my life and would like to keep it that way, so good for you, man.
Second of all, I completely concur, on the whole thing. I cannot stay up all night, for anything. I've done it a few times, but the next day, I pass the fuck out for several hours. The most recent time I did this was not this last new years eve, but the previous new years eve, at a small coastal town on the beach with a couple of friends. It was god awful.
Only a couple of us who actually didn't go pass out in the car actually didn't use drugs to stay awake, and it sucked so much being around a bunch of sky high morons while all I wanted to do was sleep. I wouldn't pull an all nighter for work, either. I don't work, but there was a time when I did and I actually lived with my employee who was a family member. They would drink all night, keep me awake and 2 hours later I had to be at work. Needless to say that didn't last.
Don't feel bad for not being able to stay awake for longer than you should. You should get atleast 6 hours of sleep to be fully functional at whatever it is you do, so don't buy into the whole "successful people don't sleep" thing. Its bullshit.
IIN if I can't do all nighters?
