Probably not really "normal." By definition, that's prostitution and may be illegal where you live. One source says, "the exchange of sex for money, goods, service, or some other benefit agreed upon by the transacting parties is illegal."
Where I live, bartering using sex as part of the barter exchange is illegal. Like trading sex to get your furnace repaired. But she says it would only be with a bf, so I suppose that would just be trading favors.
The only way the furnace repair comparison works is if they’re getting the foot massage from a professional massage therapist while he’s at work. Then it’s a service and would be borderline prostitution. I don’t know where you live but giving oral sex in exchange for a foot massage from a boyfriend, a friend, or even a stranger wouldn’t be prostitution in the US, Canada, or probably any major first world country.
Yeah, I already said doing it with a bf would just be trading favors. With a stranger could be different, though. Here’s a quote from Wikipedia. It’s has citations if you want to check. “In many jurisdictions prostitution —the commercial exchange of sex for money, goods, service, or some other benefit agreed upon by the transacting parties— is illegal,“ The massage would be the service or benefit exchanged.
Gee, what kind of a silly idea is that ? Hell it's been so long since I been in one of them, what did you call it a "relationship"? Lol. I wonder why more people don't think of your novel idea.
IIN i would give head for a foot massage?

Naw, it's probably more like bartering than prostitution.
