Thankyou for this elaborate comment ! Well I'm not out to everyone because I've never been given the chance to slip in "Hey I'm gay by the way" lol Its just a rather out there and odd thing to state especially if you aren't along the lines of sexuality or dating ect...
I have tried Zoosk, okcupid, Tagged, Tinder & POF , so basically most popular ones.
I'm too afraid to go to LGBT events by myself and thankyou for the links :)
My favorite story of someone coming out is by a guy named Max Kruemcke. Both him and his brother came out to their parents separately. They took their mom to a Cheesecake Factory and opened with a joke. Then, they took their dad out to a restaurant.
Here's the story
"So, he [his brother] ended up, 'hey dad, we got some news.' And our dad said, 'who's the lucky boy?' Then my brother went 'we're gay!' And he said, 'two lucky boys!'" Then they all laugh and as it quiets down he asks his father what he thinks about that. His dad confused questions his son.
"My mom had to lean over and be like 'they're not joking.'' - Max
In the end both of his parents accepted it, even if the way they came out was a little awkward.
Here are some helpful tips on coming out. Don't feel pressured to immediately come out if you do not want to, okay? :)
IIN I wish I was a guy so it'd be easier to get a gf?
