Sounds like you are already gone, in everything except in body.
I wouldn't waste the energy in the big ugly scene, I'd just make the move and be gone. There is someone out there who won't put you through all these emotional hoops, but until you go, you won't be able to find him.
Your heart will mend and your head will rejoice at your freedom, so don't put it off much longer and find yourself the kind of person you deserve. You'll see.
