Is it normal i want to play 3d chess?

I heard off of "BigBangthoery" about this game called 3D chess. I thought it was an awesome idea and looked it up. I found out it is a real thing and it has rules. I have played regular chess and am not great. However I like bored games and after awhile checkers just gets boring. There is no challenge in checkers and I always win at checkers. However they do not have the 3D set up on any of the chess games online. Which means I would need actual people to play with. I don't have anyone to play with but I want to get the set. How do you find people to play chess with if you don't know any people and not an expert?

Is It Normal?

  • Here in Leningrad, we play chess every day. The losers usually gets incinerated by Molotov cocktails.

  • I thought you were referring to standardized chess, not something that complex. I'd say normal.

  • 3D chess as in 3-dimensional, or 3D chess as in the 3-player chess that the character on the show named Sheldon Cooper created so he could play it with himself?

    • No the one Sheldon cooper requires 3 people. It splits the board into 3 platforms. He said twice in the episode that "We can not play since this needs 3 people". He refuses to play it if he does not have 3 people. You can play regular chess with yourself but that is pointless and boring. You already know what you are doing so why play at all? The rules of 3 dimensional chess do exist. This is a real thing and they have real chess boards for it.
