This logic is flawed. Nowadays everyone uses the Internet so the percentage of whackos online is a reflection of the percentage in the entire population. You never truly know somebody until you, well know them. Whether you met them on or offline.
That is not everyone. Also not everyone using the internet is using it to goof off. Some people use the internet and the computer strictly for work and research. Also people can more easily lie online.
They can say "Hi im a 14 year old girl" and its a pervert looking for kids. You can say "Hey I am a gay male looking for love" and its a female pretending to be a gay man.
Not that I am looking for either of those but those are some of the things you can lie about that can not really be verified. In real life most of the time you can tell if someone is a 40 year old man, a kid, or adult male and females.
Cross-dressers sometimes can hide it but look how much work it takes! Online you just lie and say "Yeah I am totally an attractive 20 year old female" and could be a big fat guy masturbating at the other end of the keyboard.
Firstly I never invested in a video camera. Secondly that seems like a lot of information to give to someone I might or might not want to meet. If I do not care to meet the person I am not going to give them enough to identify me in a crowd. That puts me at risk.
I would not mind so much hanging around with an unstable person but I would like knowing what I got myself into. You can not tell what the other person is planning to do once you meet up. Male or female they have traps designed for both.
Predictable is boring though! Relationships are too simple. To fix the problem I would have to find a nutcase! A nutcase is fun and unpredictable. Spontaneous means its always new.
If something is always new that means it never get old. If it never gets old that means you can stay together forever and the spark never dies.
A lot of relationships end because the spark dies. The spark dies when you become use to the person. If someone is crazy this will never happen! Besides I meant nutty in a whacky way not a homicidal kind of way.
