Is it normal I want to be put in a mental hospital?

  • I've heard mixed things about psych wards. On the good side it would be helpful to find the right meds and receive daily therapy. On the bad side patients are often treated poorly, such as being strapped into gurney, given bad meds, and being persecuted. Overall I'd rather not go and enjoy freedom.

      • I spent the night in crisis triage once. It was boring and not an actual hospital. I have avoided being institutionalized.

    • you sound like an idiot to me right about now.
They over medicate you and ruin your life.

Once they label you , you are screwed for life.

The only time i wanted to be admitted to one was when i nearly went to jail.

The beds are more comfortable than prison ones that and the psych wards are easier to break out of than jail.

The only down side is your self-esteem takes a beating and the label never wear off. that and you have the watching you every minute of the day.

Just like jail only you get drugged up.
