  • I felt like doing the same thing with smoking, but then I asked myself why should I compound my problems? It didn't make any sense, so for you, I'd advise as I did with myself. Try and take care of your existing problems, think positively and try and get some help with the problems you face. Hopefully, this will just be a phase in your life you can just look back on and think... I made it... without alcohol...

  • My father was an alcoholic and believe me that you do not want to go there. When your loved ones see you going through the delirious tremors (DT`s) they will despise you. It is not a pretty sight to see a fully grown person having a conversation with a washing machine!

Getting over alcoholism is also no easy feat, my father passed away two days before his fortieth birthday and I was only 14 years old at the time.

I am now 53 years old and can still remember what he went through when he was experiencing withdrawals...YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

  • No, the urge to be addicted to something is completely not normal. Heroin addicts didn't think one day "I WANT to be a heroin addict".

  • No. If not for yourself, think about how your loved ones will suffer from watching yourself destroy your body.

  • Alcohol doesn't numb the pain, it makes it worse.
