My husband was exactly like that when I met him. He couldn't wait to settle down, start a family, and generally have a perfect life. He was 20. Fast forward only four years later--he has a great and secure career, I gave him a beautiful healthy son, and now he is leaving me because it isn't what he wants anymore. He wants to pursue his dreams and he doesn't want to share that with me anymore.
I'm not in the least presuming that this will be you. But I'd agree with the other posters here that you should take your time, live your life, and not assume any one path in life is superior to others.
Is it normal I want to be a father?
