Is it normal i want the world to end?

Sometimes I get really bored and get sick of the same thing everyday, like school etc. I just want something to happen that will take out electronics, government, and we will have to find food and water and shelter. I might just be weird, and I do know that I should appreciate my life because I am considered to be lucky by some people that DO have to fight for food and water.

Is It Normal?

  • It would be nice, a re-start to everything.

  • Yeah, it would be fun, I read a lot of disaster books, I think if that happened it would make the human race more aware that money isn't worth shit

  • This happens to people a lot. The truth is we are all stuck and we are going to hit a dead end one day. This is all that is destined. I know what you are feeling but try to ignore it for one day you will look at things and you will miss the calm serenity.

  • I find myself wishing that the show LOST became reality and that I was with them alot. I'm sick of people telling me i just don't realize what i'm talking about, and how hard it would be. But then at least i would have a real purpose, survive and help others survive. I think the big reason people tell me i don't know what i'm talking about is because i'm only 14 and not in good shape at all, but if this were to happen then i would get fit, and people seriously underestimate my intelligence; presumably because i come from one of the worst generations too ever exist.

  • I wish a super volcano/earthquake/asteroid would end it all. This pointless rat race has to end.

  • this world has to end up one day but it will then never be recreated..... so try to do whatever you want now only.... get a change in your routine.... quit school for some days and visit a natural place like a beach a forest or a mountainous area or a village as i love villages this way you will feel peace and relaxed... you can take part in any sports and get engaged... or simple make new friends but don't spend your life sorrowing... just enjoy.!! :)

  • You feel like you're stuck in a never-ending routine and you want a change. The major disaster that you're dreaming of is unlikely to happen, but I understand why you want it. Being a teenager can often feel like this.
I would recommend finding a new hobby, maybe something you've never done before, that can give you new friends and new challenges. In fact, I challenge you to go out and find one.

As food for thought, many people believe that the world will go through a major revolution in the next few decades. If you want, maybe you can be a part of that. :)

    • Well, its bound to happen, and its bound to happen very soon in my opinion.

    • No it is not. This happens with natural disasters and times of war. So it is not impossible to unlikely. This has happened to a lot of places during those types of events.

  • I wish there's a way to re-live life, but not end it.

  • Fallout is a great game, but I don't think we should recreate that here.

School can be a bitch, so find a side-project to keep you occupied.

  • No we are already gone

  • I don't think you understand the gravity of what you're saying. You may know it, but you can't possibly understand.

To answer the question- It's not normal. It'd be "cool" for 5 minutes and then reality would sick in.

    • Well, on the other hand, I do realise the gravity. I'm not a kid, I've lived and worked outside of the city. I know how to hunt and handle firearms (also less sophisticated weapons).

And as much as I wouldn't want to see people get hurt, i often find myself wishing for the end of, let's say -the civilization. Because, obviously, if "the world" becomes temporarily (or permanently) uninhabitable -that would be the worst case scenario, by all the accounts.
