Normal enough, but you'd better get over it.
If you try to make your real-life relationships match your storybook expectations, you'll wind up twisting them out of their natural form and screwing everything up.
The only way to find that perfect love is to accept it as it is, which you CANNOT do when your standards come from books.
When we're kids, we look forward to relationships hoping that they'll be as exciting as they are in the movies. Once we grow up and realize they aren't, we become disappointed. It's like "Reality is Unrealistic". It seems like you're bored with life and want some drama. That's not abnormal.
ya , i wanted that too. i'm glad i don't have it.
it is a nice concept but very romanticized.. just like sex the first time (still don't know why people save themselves for marriage).
that kind of love is where people hurt each other and are detrimental to each other's success but cannot realize that they are hindering themselves as human beings. just remember that in romeo and juliet, two young, ambitious teenagers with their whole lives ahead of them killed themselves for virtually no reason...
