Over the years I've tried smoking weed and it's never worked on me. My friends pissed away money on different looking ones seeing if they'd work, but nothing happened. I felt bad because none of them had jobs and probably needed the money. XD
Think of it like a delicious cake or dessert. If you enjoy something, you often want to share that joy with a friend. So you let them have a bite, perhaps you bring one to a potluck. Imagine encountering a diabetic, vegan, or some who avoids gluten for whatever reason....oof. This thing you want to share just can't be done. It is like that with literally every consumable, except maybe water.
