If this forum is about communication with others, doesn't it behoove the posters to be able to write intelligently?
It is so tiresome to try to figure out what point someone is trying to convey, when it would be so easy for the poster to turn on their spell checker and try, a tiny bit, to make their post legible?
There is absolutely NO excuse for bad spelling and grammar in this day and age. Shame on you for condoning it.
I would like to point out that as a person who goes on this site only by use of my phone, its easy to make typos and not even realize it. It drives me crazy when I get a spelling lesson over a simple typo.
I'm not condoning it, I'm talking about being respectful. If you've read my comments here I haven't said I'm against correcting anyone. Do it politely, though. Be sensible and be sensitive.
What a crock of shit; "We're supposedly here to help people with their questions, not their writing skills!" doesn't say anything about being respectful, it chastises those of us who would like to be able to understand posters.
I guess you don't even remember your own post. And you missed my point entirely, so don't go all preachy on me.
Is it normal I've had it with this kind of comment?
