Is it normal i usually read about 100k+ words a day?

I usually read around 100K words a day, whether it be fanfiction or novels. Does anyone else do this? It seems to be something I can't stop, like an addiction.

    Yes, in the past I oft read 300+ page books between daybreak and sunset, with time to spare.

    Some people today do not read as much due to a dependency on technology, but I believe reading a lot is perfectly normal, and in fact healthy.

    How do you know how many words your reading? Do you count...
    If so this was 17 words
    But do words like synpropanethialsoxide count as two or one ? And do you count numbers as words?

    I spent my middle school years reading 10 or more books a week, it eased the torture of being around adolescents.
