You make a good point. There are plenty of situations in life that we struggle to deal with and where a little bit of experience or knowledge would help. Where else better than school to get that knowledge? I agree with you.
Maybe the idea could be expanded and the class could be about life skills in general, including some of the kinds of things people ask about here. It's important stuff, knowing how to handle yourself. It can shape your life way more than any other qualification.
Another thing public schools could use along with life skills classes are classes on how to cope with tense situations and dealing with other people as a whole.
Is it normal I think they add classes to deal with retarded people?
