Actually, I feel like people in this day and age are more disconnected from each other than ever. Social media and hyper exposition have diluted the concept of friendship. People increasingly prefer to text than to speak over the phone; some prefer to text each other while they are sitting in the same room!
I had to dump this one lady; while we were together she would treat her damn phone like an extension of her body and the freaking thing would bleep and ring 24hr/7,
I use to have a friend who use to text me 24/7 they got mad if everyone they texted did not text back right away. Would start leaving threatening texts otherwise.
Is it normal I think the internet is a sanctuary to some people.
