What you all fail to realise is that some sentances, especially the long ones have a minor factor of the safety of the individual being sentanced.
the families of the ones affected by that individuals actions might not be so eager to see Mr. Happy Golucky Rehabilitated walking around the streets or the mall so soon.
That alone can lead to another crime, you can never know for sure.
Your idea is nice and I get where you are coming from, but it ill never happen.
I think the education systen and welfare and health system needs to be improved first before we focus on letting criminals out. Remember, some criminals can be very very good actors. Acting good and rehabilited might fool the system, but deep inside they are just counting the days till their next crime. MWHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH!
Is it normal I think prison sentences should be indefinite?
