Is it normal I think prison sentences should be indefinite?

  • I think they should build a giant chessboard; each square is a kilometre-squared in area, and has a different theme (desert, marsh, mountains etc...). There are giant electric fences that run the perimeter of each square so no one can escape. You then get a load of criminals and rank them by their crimes, so the worst offenders are the kings, followed by the queens, followed by the bishops and so on, and the petty offenders are the pawns. The groups of criminals are transported to their respective squares in the prison, set up in the manner of a chessboard. Each criminal gets given a weapon that has something to do with the crime they committed: Rapists will get sex toys, murderers may get their murder weapon, thieves get something to do with the items they stole.

Then all the victims get together and play chess using the groups of criminals. Say they move their castle to B8, which is occupied by a pawn of the other team; a group of pedophiles armed with children's toys will have to battle with an army of thieves kitted out with electrical goods and priceless ornaments. Whoever is the last team standing takes the square, and checkmate is when a team kill the opposing king (usually hardest to kill, as they have the best weapons). This means that it's usually two groups of kings against each other, so most of the criminals are dead and you don't have to worry about them any more.

The remaining criminals are put into the next game of chess and so on until they all die. So not only if the crime problem solved, but the victims get to have fun too!

Oh yeah, I forgot to add that every time a team kills the other team's criminals, they get perks, like air strikes and mine drops and stuff, just to keep the game interesting.
