Is it normal i think my ants are diabetic?

first i thought they were on a diet but their diet product consumption has been so consistent that i think they must have a greater reason for it

  • You should feed them:

    Prunes
    Rice
    Ice

    That's all.

  • If they're becoming diabetic then please refrain from putting sugary treats in the ant farm. Just because they're insects doesn't mean you can just feed them any old thing. Try to show them them the same loving care you would to any other type of pet. Keep them healthy and they're sure to give you many hours of entertainment and enjoyment.

  • At first I thought this poster couldn't spell, but I guess he's serious; diabetic ants? Way too inconsequential for me.

          • So you are saying they slowed down there consumption? How do you know they are not eating enough? I know insects like sticky sweet things. So maybe if you add sweetener to it they might start eating more.

  • Ants and rats go bananas for sweeteners.

  • You better taste test their ant urine just to be sure.
