Is it normal i think lots of crimes are worse than murder?

Some examples would be child molestation, severe child abuse, torture of people or animals and solitary confinement (which the government even does). I feel this way because these acts have no good reason for them while murder has a variety of reasons, good or bad. For example it is wrong to kill your grandma for her car, but it is perfectly acceptable to kill your neighbor for raping your daughter and should even be rewarded and praised in such cases.

    I don't agree. Death is the ultimate, the absolute end of everything. I'm not trying to demean how awful something like rape must be, but if you gave me the choice between that and death I think I choose to be raped ten times out of ten. The only thing worse than murder is torture then murder.

    I also don't think vigilantes who take the law into their own hands ever ought to be considered above the law. A murderer is a murderer, and with the exception of self-defence there's no such thing as a just murder. In fact, I think revenge is a pretty shitty excuse for murder.

    Yes, of course. Murder's really not a dark and serious thing, it can actually be a lot of fun; just depends on which end of the gun/knife/rope you find yourself.
