Is it normal I think Jesus is extremely overrated?

    I have to mention that Jesus was a person who lived in days long forgotten, and the moral standards back then where completely different. Therefore, Jesus had quite modern views, imo.

    Also, it's bad to reply like this to people trying to answer your questions.

      I think a lot of the stuff he said was wrong in ANY timeframe or culture. I'm not too fond of moral relativism BTW. To me, it simply means excusing the inexcusable.

      I appreciate the fact that you were trying to answer me. However, the way in which you went about doing so (saying stuff like "I can understand why you like him" for example), CLEARLY wasn't sound. That isn't MY fault.

        I'm not sure how familiar you are with the english language, but I meant 'you' as in 'a not specified person', not 'you' as in 'the guy who started this thread'.

          No, English isn't my first language, I happen to be Dutch. Still, your use of the word "you" was VERY, VERY likely to be misinterpreted (even by people whose native tongue IS English I suspect) and therefore poorly chosen.
