Is it normal i think i may actually never take the driver licence

A combination of economy (I could not afford either a car or driver license at this point) and that I don't think I could succeed in the test itself, at least before running out of tries I can (sometime) afford. And my dad actually discourages it.

I have some traits that are not good for it, like having trouble focusing on multiple things at once. I sometimes forget things in the moment that I actually know (think that could translate to traffic rules). And I totally panic if I get close to a wasp (if I discover that inside the car I may very well crash).

Well I suppose you'll be very mildly diminishing your carbon footprint.

Same. I'm bad at focus, doing multiple things at once and processing things fast.
It might work if you give it a longer time and if you find a REALLY good and PATIENT instructor and especially if you wait until you can afford to pay a professional for lessons. I'm still far better at driving than I thought I would ever be before starting but i've failed twice and i'm now saving money to afford a real instructor instead of practicing with a family member who is unsure of how properly instruct which doesn't help if you're very insecure about driving.
Though if you believe you might never need a license you don't need to try but it gives a lot of freedom and opens up to a lot more job opportunities.

    • I don't think I would need it like for survival, but things gonna get much harder once my parents are no longer there (practically, only in addition to the emotional part). It would maybe prevent me from moving at some point since you need to transport both yourself and property many times. I could never have a job that requires personal driving to get to it. There is a chance I couldn't have pets (which I have now) because I rely on other peoples transport to get to the pet store and buy food to them. And some other practical issues. Of course you can take taxi but that quickly gets expensive when done over and over. Would prefer if I could take the license but not if it lands me in poverty otherwise

Failed mine 3 times when I was really focusing on it. The forth time I didnt give a shit and passed with flying colors. Sometimes your anxiety will fuck you over when it comes to practical tests.
