  • No lots of people who aren't Bi-Polar have it too. It's just a very common trait with them.

But extra-sensory isn't real though, any coincidences you notice are just the same things that happen to everyone except they aren't paying attention too them. You may just have an eye for detail. I used to look at the clock and quite often at 3:20, it freaked me out until i realised i just kept paying attention to it around that time out of habit.

    • I did call my sister who is bi-polar and she informed me that yes that is a symptom of being bi-polar, she also infomed me it runs in the family and i have always been a functional bi-polar. Sweet. so glad i find out when im 25 years old haha. But i still say there is more to it then that. I definately can sense more then just looking at the clock at the same time every night. (which does happen). I dunno, i can feel its something different. But i also believe that being bi-polar just makes you more sensitve to emotions and notice things others wont, due to over-analyzing and sensing others. So that makes sense. I see both sides to it.

But being BI-POLAR makes you BELIEVE thats true, when the things you notice often aren't how they really are. Thats why it's a "disorder" not a gift.
Im not making fun of you, just don't get too wound up in thinking it's a double sided thing that can help. It will only make it worse and cause problems. Watch or read "wishful drinking" by Carrie Fisher (yep princess leia) she has it pretty bad.

        • but they are how they really are hahaha. I dont make them up in my head. I mean i dont deny i most likely have a small Bi-polar disorder. I also think more then half of our population does as well. But i dont know if it contributes as much as you think to this sitiation. This has been happening my entire life....and i never had any bi-polar or depressed issues as a child. But i could sense a lot of things, and feel things others couldnt. Are you a doctor?---do u feel how i feel?---do you really know 100% what youre talking about or did you just read a book? not that i dont believe you, but i also know that they go hand in hand as well as i think its also partially seperate from one another.

Thats what the problem is, it's so bad you believe it no matter what. Sort of like how a psychotic can't tell whats real and what isn't, but he THINKS he can.

If you are Bi Polar you would be the one who knows least about it, their whole problem is impaired thinking during manic stages.

And yes, i studied Psychology and did very well. Like i said im not being mean, but just because it's something you don't want to hear doesn't make it wrong.

            • not sure why you feel you need to copy and paste my comments to reflect on what i said. I am not denying i am minorly bi-polar, i know this. But i also know that what happens once in a while may be hightened by being more sensitive to emotion and analyzation (if thats a word lol), i also know even my friends can see that i do know a lot of things that will be an outcome or things that i strangely knew after they occured. Just pointing out that its strange that as i get older these things tend to happen more often, maybe i just dont ignore them anymore. When i was little i definately could feel a presence or something touch my shoulder, or see things. I think its kinda neat that i can sense this stuff. ANd i believe you when you say being bi-polar and feeling these things can go hand in hand, that makes sense. Congrats on your college elective haha but that still does not make you a doctor. Thanks for the diagnosis though, cheapest counseling appointment ive ever had. But seriously though, i think youre making it seem as though this is all i think about or feel, or that i believe i know EVERYTHING that is going to happen. That is not a fact. Just little things once in a while. Lots of coincidences in life for me, and i am one to believe that there is no coincidence. THats all.
