  • People with Bi-Polar frequently think EXACTLY what you posted. It's not uncommon what you posted, lots of people feel and notice the same things as your saying. I was just laughing because well, alot of people with severe Bi-Polar describe your post almost word for word on a manic day, things of that nature. Extra-sensory and magical thinking it's called.

    • scary, really????? so being bi-polar is the only explanation for that?? hmmm guess i never was in a strange mood when any of that occured, or felt an extreme emotion at the time. I have a lot of vivid crazy dreams almost every night, which is another sign of having ESP. I never knew though that this was a symptom of being bi-polar. Guess ill have to ask my sister who is bi-polar and see if she feels these things.

      • No lots of people who aren't Bi-Polar have it too. It's just a very common trait with them.

But extra-sensory isn't real though, any coincidences you notice are just the same things that happen to everyone except they aren't paying attention too them. You may just have an eye for detail. I used to look at the clock and quite often at 3:20, it freaked me out until i realised i just kept paying attention to it around that time out of habit.

        • I did call my sister who is bi-polar and she informed me that yes that is a symptom of being bi-polar, she also infomed me it runs in the family and i have always been a functional bi-polar. Sweet. so glad i find out when im 25 years old haha. But i still say there is more to it then that. I definately can sense more then just looking at the clock at the same time every night. (which does happen). I dunno, i can feel its something different. But i also believe that being bi-polar just makes you more sensitve to emotions and notice things others wont, due to over-analyzing and sensing others. So that makes sense. I see both sides to it.

But being BI-POLAR makes you BELIEVE thats true, when the things you notice often aren't how they really are. Thats why it's a "disorder" not a gift.
Im not making fun of you, just don't get too wound up in thinking it's a double sided thing that can help. It will only make it worse and cause problems. Watch or read "wishful drinking" by Carrie Fisher (yep princess leia) she has it pretty bad.

            • but they are how they really are hahaha. I dont make them up in my head. I mean i dont deny i most likely have a small Bi-polar disorder. I also think more then half of our population does as well. But i dont know if it contributes as much as you think to this sitiation. This has been happening my entire life....and i never had any bi-polar or depressed issues as a child. But i could sense a lot of things, and feel things others couldnt. Are you a doctor?---do u feel how i feel?---do you really know 100% what youre talking about or did you just read a book? not that i dont believe you, but i also know that they go hand in hand as well as i think its also partially seperate from one another.

Thats what the problem is, it's so bad you believe it no matter what. Sort of like how a psychotic can't tell whats real and what isn't, but he THINKS he can.

If you are Bi Polar you would be the one who knows least about it, their whole problem is impaired thinking during manic stages.

And yes, i studied Psychology and did very well. Like i said im not being mean, but just because it's something you don't want to hear doesn't make it wrong.
