I think the rule of thumb is that if you like someone, you can get close, but not too close too them until you're sure you can trust them. The point is, you never know if someone's going to cheat on you until it actually happens, so you have to decide for yourself. Are you going to take you chances and trust a girl that might break your heart by cheating and/or might be the best relationship you ever had? OR Are you going to have little trust in your partner and possibly have an 'incomplete' or more 'lonely' relationship?
