The truth is that most "good" men are suppressed by our culture in that anything virtuous instantly becomes "different" or "weird" since our culture supports an abusive, consumptive and competitive attitude towards life. As humans, we tend to believe things before they become a reality. Case in point, if a man is portrayed as good when he is better than women and better than others in general and if these beliefs are promoted in the media, the average male will begin to believe such things without criticism or question. I almost did until I realized that I was oppressed by conformity to our culture. If men learn to accept the fact that our culture is harmful in this state, then maybe they can change to become the person they would like to be, rather than what our "culture" promotes.
Is it normal I think boys/men are complete jerks?
