  • It wasn't ment to be anything other than a display of how hate works, how it is passed on through peers and environment. How people without direction can be misguided by others.

On this level it is perfect, simple, relatable, and well executed. It was in no way supposed to be "deep", infact it's ment to show the lack of depth that is racism.

My brother is a full on racist, so I can say with some authority that it's a very accurate film in regards to the mentality and ignorance behind it.

It shows how organisations like the nazi party play on people's grief (his dad being killed by a black man) and exploit it to further their cause. He should be angry at the killer, but the nazis focus on his being black and foster an associative hatred in him, so he comes to see all blacks as criminal instead of the individual criminal who just happened to be black.

The film is on point, a classic.

    • Yeah I get all that. That's what makes it predictable.

However, it is quite inaccurate in it's details. That is unknown to most since most people aren't Nazis nor have been to prison, so that is where my bone of contention originates pertaining to my distaste for this movie.

I guess my agitation stems from the fact that it's a classic to the general public but it's so far from the truth and so idiotic. But, what do you expect? People are stupid.
