Is it normal i think alicia keys cannot sing

In her songs, she just seems to shout, like Empire state of mind, and her new song 'Girl on fire' when she screams the FIRE part it makes me wince.

Maybe it's only certain songs, because some of her songs are good, and I think more suited for her voice.

Any one else think this?

    i heard a song the other day and it sounded so screamy and bad and it was alicia keys, i liked her but it was painful to hear , so i agree with you now

    Many people seem to like her, but I agree with you. Sometimes she can be kind of screechy, like on that old song of hers, "Falling".
