I was forced into sex the first time when I didn't want it. It took me quite awhile to come to terms with it. It's complicated, and saying I was raped didn't feel right. I also felt like a virgin, though I knew I 'wasn't.'
I finally came to the conclusion that emotionally, I still was a virgin. Virginity for me wasn't just physical. It was emotional, a connection that I missed out on, a lot of things I missed out on. So I think it's perfectly acceptable.
