Sometimes an ex is a person you don't want to delete out of your life and other times exes should be deleted. But I understand 100% my breakup with my ex was horrible but I still care for him. I'm not sure of his feelings but he always tries to come back into my life. Which is not a good thing considering our past. You may just enjoy having him around because he once was a big part of your life which is completely understandable. Nevertheless keeping this secret from your bf isn't a good thing it's seen guilty. Just let him know you spoke to ur ex to check up on him. I'm she'll understand your human if you didn't car your ex was in a bad car accident then I'd be worried. But dont stress over it ur intentions are good but let your bf know trust in a relationship is sacred and shouldn't be lost. Keep that in mind. :)
