I started this string around 9 years ago thinking I'll just put it out there and see what happens and to my surprise, I've had a few comments that they also have this experience. Nice to know I'm not alone.
When I was little, I remember my family trying to stop me from doing it. They'd say stop pulling on your ears!! I guess they worried my lobes would be hanging to the floor. Lol! Which really never happened. I dont think we're actually pulling on them...its more tucking them in or caressing them over my thumb when there cold. Them doing that made me very self conscious about ever letting anyone seeing me doing it. I believe I do a good job not letting anyone see me now.
Sure feels nice to be able to talk about it with someone that shares my joy! 😁
