Is it normal i started waxing at the age of 8?

So when I was younger I was always self conscious about my body hair, especially on my arms. My mother tried everything to get rid of it, even bleaching; but nothing worked. We were left with the only possible solution: waxing. It didn't really hurt and I wanted it done. Is it normal I started waxing at such a young age?

    haha i shaved my eyebrows off because they were too thick! i would like to give my younger self a retard award.
