I'm in your boat. Sometimes I wish things would be easier to define or that you could simply define your sexuality in a single word, but it doesn't work that way for everyone. Being bisexual also doesn't mean that you are attracted to both sexes equally; you can still have some preference. There's the Kinsey Scale, after all; nothing is the matter with you.
Whatever the case, I think you should be honest with your boyfriend about it.
