Don't be so hard on yourself about this: I don't think you were lazy because if you'd had the energy to change the sheets you would've done it.
Ignore the judgmental types on here and the idiots who are back in the middle ages with their attitudes that menstrual discharge is dangerous or gross or disgusting - it's natural or it wouldn't happen, idiots
To be pedantic, most of it isn't even blood, although that's one component. Contact with it doesn't weaken men; curdle the cream or stop the butter from churning properly,; or put the hens off the lay and nor does it have any more magical qualities than other body secretions - eg snot, which can contain nasty bacteria.
I don't reckon piss on the sheets would be too terrible either if someone just didn't feel well enough to change them and there was no-one else to do it: eventually it'd evaporate and as long as it didn't soak through to the mattress, what's the big deal? If shit, I'd get those sheets off the bed pronto & into the washing machine even if I had to then sleep on the bare mattress or on the floor!
IIN I slept on dried menstrual blood for two days
