Well, maybe I am being too fussy. Obviously I have never complained to him about this all, and have just told myself that this is how guys are. I should try and validate myself, you're right, but it's hard for we women to feel secure on our own...if you catch my drift. :)
Is it normal I resent compliments that aren't about my face?
