I totally relate to this. I would feel pissed off too. Trying to explain this to your bf though will be hard, awkward and could come out all wrong. I agree with emilydoll... He is just another hopeless male! Clueless!!! Ask him what he sees when he looks at your face!
Thanks for the good advice, and for being able to understand and relate. I'll try asking him this next time we approach the subject, but it will be kinda awkward, as he likes to lead such conversations. I'm imagining myself butting in and asking, "so what do you think about my face?" Hmmm, sounds a bit ummm, immature? Wish me luck.
Is it normal I resent compliments that aren't about my face?
