My dads an engineer and the only guys I seem to be attracted to are either apprentice engineers or some sort or engineer.....is this normal?

    Of course it is. You presumably have some sort of bond with him, and he was the main example of a "man" in your life. No problem to worry about in my eyes.

    Engineering is a general sign of a good brain, so not a bad thing to be attracted to them.
