You have built up your immune system and you are good at maintaining a balance of good and bad bacteria on your body. However you're also lucky, if you come into contact with an out-of-the-ordinary germ that bypasses all of the good germs and your immune system, you're fucked. But personally I think that washing hands, in the long run, isn't much more beneficial than not doing so, unless you just handled raw meat or are about to do surgery
