Is it normal I'm this happy after having made a complaint

  • I understand but directly or indirectly, people have the right to file a complaint where displeasure and an unsatisfactory job occurred (whatever standards they have). It is up to the management to investigate that complaint and proceed or disregard it. If causing injury to a person is your benchmark for filing complaints then a lot of disrespectful and unruly staff will just float on by. As the OP implied, complaints can be beneficial to maintain a good service. I also understand the stress that comes with the job but if we use that as a basis of reasoning then every working man/woman has the leniency to act unprofessional due to that.

Yes, respect is the key word here. Those people could not be bothered to show respect towards me, and I'm sure everyone else who has the misfortune to have to deal with that particular medical facility. Therefore I'm quite happy I made the complaint.

Why should people get away with getting PAID for being rude and obnoxious to sick people? Like I already mentioned, I've had to go to the same medical facility in a different city and there they are capable or treating people with basic politeness and are efficient with their time. And I'm talking about the exact same jobs with I would assume the exact same pay rates. I have every right in the world to complain about rude slackers who cause me stress with their shit attitudes.
