Is it normal i'm the slowest?

I started a new job about a month ago, I'm not getting very many hours but I do come in twice a week. It's a restaurant job and it's very fast paced. I feel like I litterally can't keep up, like I'm being as quick as I can and I can feel my body is hot and I'm actually sweating. And as I look around every other employee is fine! They are like the fastest people I've ever seen. I keep thinking oh it's probably my diet I should watch what I eat, and these fuckers smoke and get high all day after work. I dont do that stuff so I'm like what the hell!. Is it normal to be the slowest?

Are you a cook? It's harder then it looks.

I used to use music to set a rhythm. Also if you just started you need practice. It gets easier.

Yeah I work at Chipotle, they play music and they won't let me wear headphones. It's tough I think I'm on my 12th day.

Well, don't be too hard on yourself. I know I certainly couldn't ever keep up with a restaurant job myself. Are they all in their early twenties?

Honestly, I probably couldn't have kept up with most if em even when I was young. The only restaurant job I ever had was as a hostess.
