Is it normal i'm still wearing a mask?

I have a chronic illness so I'm still terrified of getting it. Where I live one of my neighbors got it and has been in bed for 2 weeks so it's not completely gone.

Is it normal I'm still wearing a mask? I go out and almost no one is wearing one

Wear what makes you comfortable. A lot of people have “moved on” from the virus but I still take many special precautions as my nephew is immunocompromised.

I’ve been paying our maid to stay away since the beginning of the pandemic and get really really picky about who comes and goes, so no I don’t think it’s weird to continue to wear one or to continue to be more careful.

Also, wearing a mask has been common practice for some nations for a long time before COVID, it’s not a crazy thing.

Given your prior condition I think it's normal.

I know someone whose husband has been in the hospital since May, and pray for them both every day!

If your immune system is compromised... wearing a mask makes a lot of sense unrelated to Covid-19

    Given the circumstances yes.

If you are 20, have zero medical issues and are generally healthy it's completely pointless to wear a mask as covid wasnt even a threat to you to begin with.
