  • A beggar can feel entitled to coin.

Just because they have harsher living condisions does not mean that they can't feel entitled in certain aspects. Are you saying that men that force women in to a burka, don't let them drive, don't let them vote, can force women in to marriage, can genitally mutilate female children, don't feel entitled because they have a bad time bringing home food? I won't deny that you're right about them having it harsher when it comes to food and living conditions but I can't say that I agree that it means they can't feel entitled over what they do have around them.

Feeling like you're being mistreated is not the same as being mistreated. As a result of this idea that women are entitled to more for less they put business owners in irritating situations where they can't always employ the best person for the job because they have to meet a quota.

I know women's rights are no threat to men's rights. People probably will laugh at me for saying this but I'm a WRA aswell as an MRA. I'm just not willing to think that anything that benefits women is progressive when it comes at an unfair expense on others, for example like when a woman couldn't pass the fitness test for being employed as a firefighter and because of this whole PC issue, she now is a firefighter despite showing incapability, which can put some unlucky family in a tricky situation if their house goes aflame.

    • I agree that minorities' rights shouldn't cause white men to end up losing rights. I'm not a big fan of affirmative action. I would hope that a firefighter or someone in a similar position would be able to do the lifting. In that case, the requirements would have to exclude anyone who couldn't lift, be it a weaker man or a female.

I just want women to be respected for the many things they can do equally well as men. And I just don't want women to be forced into the role of a 2nd class citizen.

      • Well you don't need to worry about women becoming 2nd class citizens in places like the US and all given that such places cater to women a whole lot. Aha.

        • I know the US is definitely better than Afghanistan, but it's all relative. You know that meme about first world problems? :P

And that's the thing, I don't want to be catered to. I don't want to be babied or put on a pedestal at the expense of my self-respect and dignity. I think women should be able to support themselves without a man's help. Men always bring up the draft thing; personally I think the draft is a terrible thing, but if men have to do it, so should women.

If I got drafted, I would be the first to die lol
