I don't distrust the corporation itself. A corporation is basically a system and it is a system designed to be profitable to it's shareholders. If operated with respect to the environment and to the people who work in it (particularly, in the loser levels), a corporation can be a great, beneficial and profitable capital.
Sadly, a lot of corporations have very intelligent people who have figured out ways to skirt environmental and employee concerns. Hence, why I support corporate regulation. The corporation itself is not the evil, rather, the people who run it.
Another problem with corporations is that they have a tendency to screw up communities. Back in the day, when businesses were more localized and the business owners LIVED in the communities in which they operated, they CARED about their community and put efforts into improvement. Often times, CEOs don't live in every community they operate businesses in, so why do they care?
I am not anti-corporation, but I am very much pro-corporate regulation and corporate ethics.
Is it normal I'm sick of the corporations aren't people card?
