I see your point at being 50. My friend is 58 and never married. Had lots of boyfriends and live-ins in her life. She is always lonely and sad. I think her being that way made the relationships end. I known her for over 30 years. I guess what I was trying to say is that the OP is still young. And if you are not a general happy person you probably will not find a guy because they pick up on it. Be true to yourself. Try to be a happy person. Going to med school will give her ample opportunities to find a guy.
